Conversion of exiting garages and other outbuildings to garden suites will become a common sight in Toronto soon.
And last week the first application for such a build arrived at City Hall.
At 201 Medland Street, in The Junction, a garage conversion will soon take shape.
In many cases, the existing garage can give the homeowner relief from normally-required setbacks, and/or can make the buildable area for the garden suite larger than normally allowed.
